As a sales representative, much of my time is spent traveling across the province of Québec to meet with our customers. Yet each time I return to the office, I feel a real sense of belonging and comfort. It’s a bit like finding a home away from home. 

What makes my experience at Interbois so rewarding is the strong team spirit that permeates the company. Every new customer is a collective victory, resulting from the concerted efforts of the entire team. This recognition of the importance of our work at all levels is incredibly motivating. 

I’m also proud to work for a company that is actively involved in the community. Initiatives, such as providing snacks for schools, are a testament to our desire to contribute to the well-being of those around us. 

Despite Interbois’ remarkable growth over the years, I’m pleased to see that the company hasn’t lost its soul. We’re not just numbers in a system, but individuals who are valued and respected. I felt this warm, family atmosphere since the first day I joined Interbois. I feel fully integrated within the team.

Working at Interbois is much more than just a job. It’s about being part of a close-knit team in a company that cares about both its employees and its community. It’s an enriching experience that fills me with gratitude every day. 

After more than 26 years with Interbois, I’d like to take a moment to reflect upon my career and all the enriching experiences I’ve had here. 

The most rewarding aspect for me has been the opportunity to explore different positions throughout my career. Interbois has given me the chance to diversify my skills and broaden my horizons professionally. This has enabled me to grow and develop throughout the years. 

But beyond the professional opportunities, what really marked my experience at Interbois was the friendly and respectful working atmosphere within the company. Here, everyone has the right to express themselves and give their opinion. Above all, you feel truly listened to. This culture of listening and respect contributes greatly to creating a working environment where everyone feels valued and supported. 

Over the years, watching the company grow and evolve has been a real pleasure, and I’ve been proud to be part of this adventure from the very beginning. Growing up alongside Interbois has been a rewarding and enriching experience. I’m grateful to have been able to contribute, however modestly, to our collective success. 

Today, as I retire, I leave Interbois with a heart full of precious memories and gratitude for a company that has been more than just a place to work. . I leave behind a great team and a thriving business. I know that the bonds I forged here will stay with me forever.

When I think of my work at Interbois, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. Knowing that our products will enhance the homes of many Quebecers using the mouldings we make is a source of pride for me.

The working atmosphere in our plant is truly pleasant. Everything runs like clockwork, and the family atmosphere is palpable. At Interbois, we’re not just numbers, but individuals with our own identity, which reinforces the feeling of belonging to a big family.

At Interbois, my skills and expertise are not only recognized, but also valued. My work has enabled me to develop a high degree of autonomy and initiative. My natural leadership is also encouraged, enabling me to take on the tasks entrusted to me with confidence.

I currently work on three different machines, which has enabled me to develop valuable versatility. I really appreciate this diversity in my responsibilities, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and progress every day.

Communication within the company is excellent. Whether it’s with my colleagues, my superiors or Marie-Ève, our President, we always have the opportunity to express ourselves and to be listened to. Our suggestions are considered, and can even lead to concrete changes.

The work schedule at Interbois is also very well thought out. It allows us to take advantage of three-day weekends to recharge our batteries and pursue our hobbies. What’s more, we have the flexibility to make personal appointments, and our superiors are very understanding in this respect.

The corporate culture at Interbois is truly motivating. Our values, such as passion and ambition, are embodied by our managers, in particular Marie-Ève, Jason and Jonathan, who are driven by a genuine passion for their work and for the well-being of their employees.

To sum up, my professional experience at Interbois can be summed up as a warm family atmosphere, flexible working hours and a real opportunity for personal growth. I arrived with certain shortcomings, but thanks to the support and confidence of my colleagues and superiors, I’ve become a better man. Interbois is much more than just a place to work. It’s a community where every individual is valued and encouraged to thrive.
