Knotty pine barnwood 2D are sensitive to shocks and impacts. Handle them with care during transport and storage to avoid deformation or damage. Since temperature and ambient humidity directly impact pine, it is essential to allow the material to acclimate to its new environment for 48 to 72 hours before installation. Avoid long-term storage of pine in places like a basement or unheated garage, as this could compromise its quality and stability. Also, ensure doors are laid flat to prevent warping.
