Baseboards are boards placed at the foot of walls, along the floor, inside a building. Serving both decorative and functional purposes, they allow, among other things: Concealment of joints, spaces left by floor installers at the base of walls to allow wood to expand; Prevention of carpets and linoleums from coming loose at the base of walls.
Avoid exposing PVC mouldings to direct heat sources such as radiators or heating ducts. Prolonged exposure to heat could cause deformation or discoloration of the mouldings.
