Over the years, creating beautiful spaces has become Interbois’ guiding principle. We offer solutions with high aesthetic value, of course, but that also create positive economic, environmental and social impacts in the community .
For over 25 years, creating beauty has been at the heart of our history and journey. It’s a story of will, a proud heritage that we preserve and honour whole heartedly.
The desire to create an impact in the community.
In the early 1990s, Benoît Drouin had a dream. To create a positive impact in the community of Saint-Odilon-de-Cranbourne, in Québec’s Beauce region. A dream where job creation and successive generations would be the engines of regional economic growth. Where North American eastern white pine finger-joint engineering would be the core business. Today, Interbois has not only become a leading company in its industry, but it has also contributed to the success of many local businesses. A dream comes true!
The desire to build a major company.
Economic growth and regional influence depend on strong and viable local businesses. That is why in the first few decades, we have focused on manufacturing value-added wood components and consolidating the company’s position in the industry. Under the leadership of Marie-Ève Drouin, the founder’s daughter, the second generation has taken over by broadening the company’s focus to include design, distribution and customer support as the foundations of an extensive and complete offering of interior finishing products.
The desire to contribute to sustainable development.
Wood is at the heart of our DNA. It is both our main resource and our future. As such, we understand the impact and scope of an overall vision for sustainability and a healthier planet. Our concrete actions and efforts to raise community awareness are a direct result of this. That’s why sustainable development has become an integral part of our business strategy.
